Terms and Conditions for the “Musical Conundra from the Scientists of Groove” competition.
1. Introduction
1. Musical Conundra from the Scientists of Groove is a collaborative competition launched in November 2024.
1.1. These terms and conditions apply to the “Musical Conundra from the Scientists of Groove” competition (“Competition”).
1.2. By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Competition is open to individuals worldwide.
2.2. Employees of the promoter, their families, and anyone else professionally connected with the Competition are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
3.1. Participants can enter the Competition by scanning a QR code found in each of the six short films about Nik Bartsch and Ronin which can be found on Bärtsch’s YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@nikbaertsch.
3.2. The QR code will direct participants to Nik Bartsch’s microsite where they can submit their answers.
3.3. Participants can also enter the competition directly via the website
3.3. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.
4. Competition Duration
4.1. The Competition will remain open until a winner is declared or until the end of 2025 whichever the sooner
4.2. The first participant to correctly answer all six questions and submit their answers via the website will be declared the winner.
5. Prize
5.1. The prize consists of an economy trip for one person to Zurich for a weekend, including accommodation in a 3 or 4-star hotel in or near central Zurich, and the opportunity to meet the band at their regular Monday night concert at Exil.
5.2. The prize includes round-trip travel to Zurich from the winner’s location.
5.3. There is only one prize available. There are no runner-up prizes.
5.4. If the winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize, the Competition will reset, and the next participant to submit the correct answers will be declared the winner.
6. Winner Announcement
6.1. The winner will be notified by email as soon as possible after entering all six correct answers.
6.2. The promoter will attempt to find a suitable date for the winner to visit Zurich. If no suitable date can reasonably be found in 2024 or 2025, the winner must relinquish the prize, and it will be offered to the next participant with the correct answers if any.
6.3. The competition remains open until a winner is found or until 11:59 December 31st 2025
7. General Conditions
7.1. Participants are encouraged to collaborate, but only the participant who submits the correct answers will be eligible to win the prize.
7.2. Sharing answers with the intention of disrupting the Competition will result in disqualification.
7.3. Participants found cheating, using bots, or attempting to hack the website will be disqualified.
7.4. The Competition is intended primarily for entertainment.
8. Disclaimers
8.1. The promoter has made every effort to ensure the accuracy of the Competition.
8.2. Guides on Facebook may publish clues to help participants. These clues are part of the Competition and should not be considered unfair to those who did not see them.
9. Liability
9.1. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any technical issues, system failures, or software failures that may prevent participants from entering the Competition or claiming the prize.
9.2. The promoter’s decision is final in all matters relating to the Competition.
10. Data Protection
10.1. Personal data provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of the Competition and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
10.2. Player data will not be used for marketing purposes
11. Governing Law
11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
By participating in the Competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
